The closing of one supermarket in Lakewood has upset some members of the Jewish community.
The Shop Rite in town closed Tuesday and is moving a few miles away to Howell.
Some members of Lakewood's Orthodox Jewish community say they will miss the Kosher Experience section of the supermarket, which carried a wide variety of kosher meats.
The Howell location will not feature the Kosher Experience.
A spokesperson for Shop Rite says shoppers who keep kosher can order kosher groceries online from Shop Rite's Neptune location, which offers home delivery.
