A section of Main Street in Somerville, also known as NJ‑28, has reopened after crews made repairs following a pickup truck crash this morning.
The truck slammed into a utility pole, and the driver suffered a minor injury but refused medical attention.
The incident was captured on security video.
The road had been closed from Hamilton Street to Park Avenue as PSE&G crews worked on repairs.
The power is on for businesses like Pop's Place right across the street. "So this was quite the surprise when I came here this morning, but we are open...Come get your food guys!" says Steven Verardi.
The cause of the crash was not known at the time the road reopened.
