The Knicks’ first NBA Finals game in 27 years tips off Wednesday night in San Antonio.

When the series shifts to Madison Square Garden, it will mark a homecoming for Spurs guard Dylan Harper. Harper, who played at Don Bosco and Rutgers, is averaging more than 13 points per game this postseason. The Spurs selected him with the No. 2 overall pick in 2025.

Harper, 20, grew up a Knicks fan and will now play Finals games in an arena he knows well.

“I’ve been to so many Knicks playoff games, Knicks games. I live 25, 30 minutes from the arena. I know there’s going to be a whole lot of tickets I’ll be asked for, but my phone’s going to be off for that,” Harper said.

Harper will not have to worry about tickets to Madison Square Garden until Game 3 on Monday, June 8.
