Section of Highway 18 closed in East Brunswick after crash takes down pole, wires

A section of Highway 18 in East Brunswick is closed in both directions this morning because of a crash.

East Brunswick Police sent out an alert at 11:19 p.m. Wednesday saying Highway 18 is closed in both directions between Rues Lane and Main Street due to a motor vehicle crash with a downed utility pole and wires.

The estimated time for completed repairs was not given.

Drivers should plan an alternate route and expect delays in the area.
