Patrolmen Mortensen and Jones teamed up with Dunellen Defender Fire Company #1 to rescue 11 ducklings trapped in a storm drain, according to a post made by the Dunellen Borough Police Department on Facebook.

After safely freeing the ducklings, the team reunited them with their nearby waiting mother, sending the feathered family safely on their way.
