Officials in Seaside Heights are preparing for a potential impact from Hurricane Isaias.
Mayor Anthony Vaz says planning has been underway for a few days as the track of the storm could cause severe weather in the community.

Vaz says shelters will open, if necessary, and coronavirus-related guidelines will be put in place. Masks would be required inside and social distancing policies would be followed. Additional shelters would open to prevent crowding.
"We suggest you buckle down anything that is outside," Vaz says. "We will have both emergency housing in town and across the bridge."
Vaz says it is a silver lining that the storm is expected to hit early in the week when less people are in the area.
