A curfew was implemented in Seaside Heights Monday for anyone under 18 after crowds were seen running near a packed boardwalk.

Some people reported shots fired but police say that was not true.

The 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. curfew is now in effect through Labor Day in Toms River's Barrier Island communities.
