The stage is set as the WWE gets ready to host its annual SummerSlam event at American Dream in East Rutherford.

Wrestling fans got an early chance on Friday to meet some of their favorite WWE Superstars. They were signing autographs and taking pictures.

Fans also had a chance to purchase some WWE apparel and action figures.

“Wrestling has always been cool. Anyone who says wrestling is cool again doesn’t understand that it’s never not been cool. We’ve always been cool. Everyone’s always been cool about it. You guys are just too scared to admit it,” says WWE fan Allen Ownz.

This is the first year SummerSlam is two nights. The show kicks off at 6 p.m. on Saturday.
