The search for a missing northern New Jersey woman has been called off Friday as police boats and divers seized their search in an area of the Passaic River.

The 44-year-old Waldwick woman, whose name was not disclosed by police, was reported missing Thursday by her husband. Her unlocked car - with her purse and keys inside - was later found at a marina in the Bergen County community of Elmwood Park, along River Drive and Washington Avenue.

Although the river search has been called off, investigators say they will be checking it daily for any clues to her whereabouts.
