Schools in Vineland will be open on Friday following an online threat that kept students home on Thursday.

The schools had closed because of a threat posted on social media.

But officials say that the threat was a generic post that was replicated and redistributed online.

School administrators are urging parents to talk to their kids about what they post and share on social media.
