Tuesday is school election day in New Jersey.
Frank Bellussio, executive director of the New Jersey School Boards Association, expects turnout to be low. Bellusio is reminding voters that this is one of the few chances voters have to approve or shoot down governmental spending at the state level.
"The school budget is the only large budget that's put on the ballot in the state of New Jersey," says Belussio.
Voters will also flesh out their respective school boards. Polls will be open between 5 and 9 p.m. in all districts.
