Rowan University is the
latest of 12 colleges across New Jersey mandating students get the COVID-19
vaccine before returning to campus this fall, but only this time -- there's a
financial twist.
After getting their shots, all full-time students who get vaccinated
will get a $500 credit to use on their fall tuition.
Vaccinated students who live on campus will get an additional $500 to go
toward their housing bill.
Part-time students will see a
pro-rated credit based on the number of courses they're taking.
Students with an approved medical or religious exemption can opt out,
but they'll have to be tested for coronavirus every week.
