Rita’s launches new Italian Ice to mark 20 years of giving back

Rita’s Italian Ice & Frozen Custard is releasing a new flavor while supporting a major cause. The company has launched Sour Blue Pucker Italian Ice, a blue raspberry treat topped with sour dust and a Trolli Sour Brite Octopus.
The new flavor also marks the 20th anniversary of Rita’s partnership with the Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation. Starting Monday, May 18, guests can donate $1 at any Rita’s location to add their name to the “Wall of Hope,” with proceeds supporting childhood cancer research.
Over the past two decades, Rita’s has raised nearly $6 million for the foundation. The new flavor kicks off a season of giving at local shops.
