More than 100 residents rallied outside Passaic City Hall Tuesday to voice their concerns over one police officer's conduct.
Residents say Sgt. Roy Bordamente is targeting members of the Latino community. They claim they are being given tickets for blocking public walkways, but maintain that they are only standing on the sidewalk. Some residents have even filed formal complaints with the Passaic Police Department.
Rosa Dellosantos says she was ticketed for having a beer in public, but says it was only juice.
News 12 contacted the police department and mayor's office for comment and was told the issue is under investigation.
