According to the latest government figures, the U.S. unemployment rate has fallen to 8.6 percent, but a new report says people are still struggling.
Last month, 102,000 new jobs were added, but while the decreasing unemployment is a positive sign, according to a Rutgers University report, many people are still feeling the pinch from a tough economy.
According to the report, seven out of 10 people say they are financially damaged, devastated, or totally wrecked.
Many say that while more jobs are available, they don?t pay what they used to.
Some say they've had to sell possessions, borrow money, or cut back on medical care.
