A new report shows more than 97,000 children in the U.S. tested positive for coronavirus in the last two weeks of July.
The American Academy of Pediatrics and the Children's Hospital Association studied the child cases, and in the last two weeks of July, say there was a 40% increase in child infections across the states and cities that were studied.
The news has some parents worried as students prepare to go back to school.
A photo went viral that showed students at a Georgia school not social distancing or wearing masks. Six students and three staff members at that school have tested positive for the virus. That school is now temporarily turning to virtual learning.
