Prosecutor’s office: Man forced 31-year-old woman to engage in acts of prostitution across Morris County

The Morris County Prosecutor’s Office has announced a man from West Orange has been charged with human trafficking, accused of forcing a woman to engage in acts of prostitution for more than a year.

The Morris County Prosecutor’s Office has announced a man from West Orange has been charged with human trafficking, accused of forcing a woman to engage in acts of prostitution for more than a year.
The alleged incidents happened between March 2019 and Aug. 2020.
According to the prosecutor’s office, Mcquacy Goodridge, forced the 31-year-old woman to engage in acts of prostitution for more than a year.
Authorities say he moved the woman around to different locations within the county, while collecting the money for her sexual encounters.
The victim also says Goodridge threatened to hurt her and her family if she did not get more clients for him.
Goodridge has been charged with four counts of human trafficking, among other charges, and is currently lodged at the Morris County Correctional Facility.
