The Essex County Prosecutor’s Office
has announced a man was struck and killed by a vehicle in Newark.
The incident happened Saturday around 10:54 p.m. in the area of at Elizabeth Avenue
and Earl Street.
According to authorities, Andrew Dixon, 36, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Authorities say the driver
did not stop.
