Prosecutor: Man struck by bullet while sleeping inside Paterson home

The Passaic County Prosecutor’s Office says that a 35-year-old man from Yonkers was shot while sleeping inside a Paterson home.

The Passaic County Prosecutor’s Office says that a 35-year-old man from Yonkers was shot while sleeping inside a Paterson home.
The shooting happened around 12:15 p.m. Monday morning near a home located near East 23rd Street and Park Avenue. Authorities say that the shooting happened outside of the home, and that the victim was struck by stray gunfire. He sustained injuries that did not appear to be life threatening.
