A woman is facing charges for allegedly lighting an empty baby stroller on fire near a preschool in Bayonne.
Officials say that the incident happened near Lauren Wendroff Early Children’s Academy. They say that surveillance video shows 37-year-old Khaliyah Bordeaux, of Jersey City, approaching the stroller, setting it on fire and running away.
The stroller was worth $1,400, according to officials.
Bordeaux was arrested Tuesday after trying to retrieve her vehicle from an impound yard.
