Newark police are asking for the public’s help locating a suspect who assaulted a delivery driver and stole their moped on July 19.

Police say the driver was dropping off food on Broad Street when the suspect struck him in the back of the head, knocking him unconscious.

The suspect then took his moped and drove away on West Kinney Street.

Anyone with information is urged to call police.
