Lakewood police broke up an overcrowded wedding on Olive Court.
Hundreds of people were invited, which goes against Governor Phil Murphy's order that bans gatherings of more than 50 people.
The police department says the large crowd sparked a flurry of calls from concerned residents.
In a statement, the police department says in part: "The Lakewood Police is asking that its citizens be responsible and obey the directives set forth by the State of New Jersey for the safety and health of all. Those that choose not to will be subject to criminal prosecution."
