Police say a Newark man threw a hot cup of coffee in the face of an NJ Transit conductor’s face earlier this week.
Authorities say Michael Wilson, 36, threw the cup after getting angry because he couldn’t get on for free at Secaucus Junction during rush hour on Monday.
The incident caused delays and the conductor had to be treated at a hospital, according to police.
It was not immediately clear what charges he is facing.
