2h agoA man has been arrested in connection to the fatal shooting of a
1-year-old in Brooklyn in July, police say.
Dashawn Austin, 25, was arrested Wednesday and charged on three counts
of murder.
The incident happened when the victim, Davell Gardner, was shot while
sitting in his stroller at a family barbecue. Three other people were also
injured.
In addition to the murder charges, Austin face three counts of attempted
murder charges, assault and attempted assault charges, four counts of criminal
possession of a weapon charges and reckless endangerment.
The investigation remains active and ongoing.
