Armed home invasions, vehicle break-ins and attempted burglaries have led to a message from Brick Township police to keep your vehicles, homes and garages locked.
A series of incidents took place beginning Friday in the township and continued into early Monday morning.
The first attempted armed home invasion happened Friday between 4:30 and 5:30 a.m. in the Cherry Quay section of town. Home security images show a man who appears to be holding a gun trying to get into a rear patio door.

On Sept. 17, multiple vehicle burglaries were reported to police in the Shore Acres and Baywood sections of town.
On Monday morning, police say suspects broke into a home in the Lake Riviera section and stole personal items including a key fob.
Police haven't said if these incidents are connected to ongoing vehicle thefts in Monmouth and Ocean counties, but they have continued the warnings to keep your keys locked inside your home and remove your fobs from vehicles.
