Police say an officer caught a 1-year-old baby dropped off a second-floor balcony by a man in Jersey City.
They say the officers caught the child during a standoff on Rose Avenue.
The Hudson County Prosecutor's Office praised the officer and the police negotiator for helping to end the situation safely.
