Investigators are looking for leads Tuesday after a violent weekend home invasion in Mercer County.
The incident occurred in a home on Upland Avenue in Ewing Township Saturday. Police say the attackers forced their way inside the home and assaulted the disabled man living at the residence. According to police, the men demanded money and ordered the victim to call his wife and her friend, who were not home when the men broke in. When the women arrived, authorities say the wife?s friend was sexually assaulted. Police say two men then took the wife to an ATM to get more money, but she had reached her withdrawal limit. According to police, the men took her purse and then pushed her out of a moving vehicle.
Police say the disabled man, who was knocked from his wheelchair and beaten, is still in the hospital. Since the attack happened quickly, the victims say they couldn?t get a description of the suspects.
