Police: At least 2 people injured in 4 separate Newark shootings

Newark's police director says three people have been arrested in connection with a shooting. The group was arrested and a .45-caliber weapon was recovered following the shooting on South 11th Street.

Newark's police director says three people have been arrested in connection with a shooting.
The group was arrested and a .45-caliber weapon was recovered following the shooting on South 11th Street.
Director Anthony Ambrose says that two of the three people arrested Monday morning are 14-year-old boys. 
The victims, 19- and 21-year-old males, suffered injuries that were not considered-life-threatening. It is believed the men were targeted.
There were other reports of shots fired overnight, including on Pierce Street from Springfield Avenue to Woodland Avenue, South 12th Street off Springfield Avenue, Avon Avenue and Huntingdon Street near Bergen Street and Seymour Avenue. Another shooting was reported early Tuesday morning on Seymour Avenue.
There is no word if any of the incidents were related.
