A 7-year-old girl who was injured in a fire in Maple Shade earlier this month has died from her injuries, according to police.
Hope Marles was injured in the May 7 fire at the Fox Meadow Apartment Complex on Adams Drive. Her brother Alan Marles, 12, died shortly after the fire. Their mother, Shannon Marles, 35, remains in the hospital.
Police say that organs and tissues from both children have been donated to the “Gift of Life Program.”
Three other people were injured in the fire.
The Burlington County Fire Marshall’s Office is investigating the cause.
