Police in Somerset County are investigating the drowning death of a 4-year-old boy.
Police say that the child, whose name was not released, drowned at Sunset Lake in Bridgewater Friday evening.
Officers arrived to find bystanders administering CPR. The boy was taken to the hospital and pronounced dead.
A post-mortem exam ruled the incident an accident by drowning. A final autopsy report is pending.
