A 3-year-old boy who was critically injured when he was struck by a car Wednesday afternoon has died from his injuries.

Evesham Township police say that the boy was struck around 12:30 p.m. Wednesday on Route 73. He was taken to Cooper Hospital in critical condition but died Thursday from his injuries.

Police say the driver who struck the boy was an 81-year-old man who remained on the scene and is cooperating with the investigation.
