A series of car accidents Friday night on the Northern State Parkway resulted in three people being hospitalized, authorities say.
State police say the incidents began when one car rear-ended another near Exit 30.
A car heading east smashed into one of the vehicles moments later and struck a person standing outside of it.
Authorities say three people were sent to a hospital and one person refused medical attention.
None of the injuries are considered life-threatening, according to police.
