At just 9 months old, Hawkeye is curious, friendly and eager to find his "furever" home.
This playful puppy is happy and affectionate, according to volunteers at Mt. Pleasant Animal Shelter.
"What you’ll notice most about Hawkeye is how much heart he has," his description on the animal shelter's website says. "He’s affectionate, funny, and loves making new friends — both two- and four-legged. Once he knows you, he’ll be your constant companion, happiest when he’s included in whatever you’re doing."
Hawkeye already knows basic commands, walks well on a leash and is housebroken. Volunteers say the ideal home for him would be one with a family who is willing to continue his training and keep him active with walks, playtime and training games.
