Patients and visitors of the Sanzari Children’s Hospital in Hackensack were treated to a special concert Monday.

The Show Me Your Heart Foundation hosted the event, which featured guitar and piano performances from young musicians from China, Vietnam and Korea.

The foundation also donated a piano that is in the hospital’s lobby.

Advisory board member Heather Choi says that these concerts help give hope to the patients and their families.

“Life is good. Just enjoy it. You don’t know how lucky you are…you see these kids and you see what their parents have to go through…you just have to feel that you’re so lucky,” she says.

The young musicians will also be playing at the Lincoln Center in New York on Wednesday.
