(AP) - Police say a woman escaped seriousinjuries after jumping in front of a commuter train in New Jersey.
Port Authority Police spokesman Al Della Fave says thewoman landed in the middle of the track as a PATH train rolled overher near the Grove Street station in Jersey City Thursday.
Della Fave says emergency services officers found the woman in apocket that was deep enough that she did not sustainlife-threatening injuries.
The woman, whose name has not been released, was taken to JerseyCity Medical Center.
The incident halted service to the Grove Street Station.
