11h agoSome kids in Paterson participated at a football camp Saturday hosted by Paterson native and former New York Giants wide receiver Victor Cruz.
The event at Bauerle Field allowed young athletes to get first-hand advice from the local legend.
Cruz said the event provided an opportunity for kids to learn the tricks of the trade from the same coaches that advised him when he was young.
He also stressed that such an event shows kids the valuable lesson that success can be achieved with hard work.
The Victor Cruz Foundation, which hosted the event, was founded in 2012.
