A woman from Passaic was arrested after police say she stabbed her coworker in the chest Saturday night at a bar in Hasbrouck Heights.

Police say they responded to a 911 call around midnight at The Heights Bar & Grill located at 163 Boulevard. The Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office Major Crimes Unit also responded to the scene.

Authorities say 23-year-old Juana Galvez Genaro, an employee of the establishment, was charged with aggravated assault and possession of a weapon after stabbing her co-worker in the chest during an argument.

Galvez Genaro is being held in Bergen County Jail in Hackensack pending a court appearance.

The co-worker was taken to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries and is expected to be OK, police say.
