The parents of a 2-year-old girl who drowned in a swimming pool last year have been indicted in her death.
Robert Trella and Brigitte McCarthy were charged with 11 counts, including endangering the welfare of a child and possession of a controlled substance.
Last August, officials say the toddler's 9-year-old sister ran down the street yelling that the 2-year-old was missing. Police officers later found the little girl in a neighbor's swimming pool.
Police say that they found drugs inside the family's home while searching for the girl.
