Two New Jerseyans could be $1 million richer after two winning Powerball tickets were sold in the state.
Lottery officials say that two tickets sold in the Garden State matched all of the five white balls pulled in the Powerball drawing Saturday night – winning the second-tier prize of $1 million.
One winning ticket was sold at the Marlton Shop Rite located at 307 West Route 70 in Marlton, and another at Welsh Farm Deli & Convenience store located at 4-10 Towne Center Drive in North Brunswick.
Saturday’s Powerball jackpot was the fourth largest in U.S. history at $687.8 million. Winning tickets were sold in Iowa and in New York. The winners will split the grand prize.
