Officials have released the identity of the driver who killed a child in a hit-and-run crash in January.
Suhrel Proctor fatally struck five-year-old Fanta Sangare, and also hit her sister and their father as they crossed Sixth Avenue in Newark.
Proctor faces several charges including theft of two high-end vehicles and trafficking stolen cars.
He was driving a stolen Dodge Ram when he hit the family.
The father suffered a broken leg and fractured skull. His other daughter recovered from head injuries.
