Officials: Prisoner on the loose after escaping from Passaic County Jail transport

A prisoner is on the loose after he escaped from a Passaic County Jail transport vehicle, according to police.
Clifton police say that Isaiah Felix, 20, was on his way to the jail. But when they arrived at the location in Paterson, Felix was able to escape custody around 4 a.m. Monday.
Police that law enforcement officials chased Felix through the streets of Paterson, and even did a yard-by-yard search. But officials were not able to find him.
Felix was originally arrested on Sunday and was accused of burglary and kidnapping a family member. Police say that he has ties to the Richfield Village Apartments in Clifton and has multiple addresses in Passaic.
