A Manville woman was charged with the attempted murder of a child under her care.

Alfonsina Anguita was arrested after an investigation revealed that a 3-year-old had been abused and strangled allegedly under Anguita’s care.

Anguita was charged with first-degree attempted murder and second-degree child endangerment.
