Officials: Linden school threat was directed at school in N. Carolina
Officials in Union County say that a threat posted on Snapchat believed to be directed at Linden High School was actually directed at a school in North Carolina.
New 12 New Jersey obtained a copy of the photo, which depicted a collection of guns and a threat against a teacher.
Because it was initially believed that the threat was a directed at Linden High School in New Jersey, students were sent home early as a precaution.
But Superintendent Danny Robertozzi said in a letter sent to parents that the threat was actually made against Lincolntown High School in North Carolina.
Robertozzi says that arrests have been made in connection with that threat.
