Officials: Baby python found inside Rutgers University dorm room
Police were called about reports of a snake inside a room at Voorhees Residence Hall. The snake was turned over to New Brunswick Animal Control.

Rutgers University police say a baby python was found inside of a dorm room in New Brunswick.
Police were called about reports of a snake inside a room at Voorhees Residence Hall. The snake was turned over to New Brunswick Animal Control.
The university is reminding students that they must receive approval from the Office of Disability Services to live in university housing with support animals.
Officials also say that unwanted animals should never be released into the wild.
