Police: Man arrested for injuring child in Newark hit-and-run
yesterdayPolice say a 30-year-old man was shot in the leg Friday afternoon in Gowanus.
Detectives say it happened in front of the Smith-9th Streets station, just before 4 p.m.
The man was taken to New York Presbyterian-Methodist Hospital in stable condition, according to authorities.
It was not immediately clear what led to the shooting of if there were any arrests made as of Friday evening.
