A 36-year-old caretaker was arrested and charged in connection with the death of a 5-year-old girl in Robbinsville, according to Mercer County prosecutors.
They say Raphaelle Register was responsible for four children at the time of the incident and is accused of leaving them unattended, failing to feed them, and denying them necessary medical treatment.
The cause and manner of death are pending an autopsy.
Register was charged with four counts of second-degree endangering the welfare of a child.
