The nor’easter impacting New Jersey has caused a ground stop and delays at Newark Liberty International Airport.
The storm was on its way out by Monday evening, leaving travelers hopeful that the delays wouldn’t last much longer.
The Federal Aviation Administration held flights at all major New York City-area airports due to the strong winds from the storm.
As of 5 p.m., there were just under 300 flights at Newark Liberty delayed and at least 12 canceled.
The storm caused New Jersey Transit to modify some of its services as well.
