The nor'easter impacting New Jersey is causing some service changes with New Jersey Transit.
"Out of an abundance of caution and concern for the safety of our customers and employees, and to protect NJ Transit equipment, the following service adjustments are in effect. Systemwide cross-honoring is in effect for rail, private carriers, bus, and light rail service on Monday, Oct. 13," the agency wrote on its website.
Rail service is suspended for the rest of the day on the North Jersey Coast Line between Long Branch and Bay Head due to the storm.
Service is also halted for the rest of the day on the Atlantic City Rail Line between Atlantic City and Philadelphia.
Customers are advised to travel only if necessary.
