Today's high will be comfortable in the lower to mid-80s with lots of sunshine. The weather remains fair and quiet through the afternoon and even tomorrow. Wednesday is just as perfect with late day clouds after sunset.
Rain arrives on Thursday afternoon and evening as the heat and humidity returns to the area. The highs on Thursday will reach the upper 80s and near 90 in some spots. Thursday's rain starts near or after 3 p.m.
Thunderstorms can be capable of producing localized flooding and strong gusts. Storms and rain continue overnight into Friday morning. Friday will be damp and unsettled early, but it will also gradually improve through the day.
Unfortunately, this will shroud the sky with clouds for the lunar eclipse that takes place late Thursday night into Friday morning. However, maybe we'll be lucky to see a small break in the clouds to catch the rust-red moon. This eclipse occurs when the moon falls into the shadow of the earth.
