A nor'easter making its way up the coast will graze the Garden State overnight.
While the center of the storm is expected to remain well offshore, parts of New Jersey will get brushed by its outer bands as it passes by. Light rain and breezy conditions are expected mainly down the Jersey Shore.
Our weather will quickly improve on Wednesday. Expect sunshine and a gusty west wind, with afternoon temperatures reaching at least 60 degrees. While this weather may be pleasant, the combination of very dry air and wind gusts up to 40 mph has prompted the National Weather Service to issue a fire weather watch during the daylight hours Wednesday. Should a wildfire occur (as was the case this past weekend in Ocean County) it would have the potential to spread very quickly in these conditions.
